There are many people and groups who are trying to bring back the glory days of manufacturing in this country. I discovered a new group just yesterday after reading the blog post of Linda Thomas of KIRO radio here in Seattle. The group is Wear USA, which was founded and is being spearheaded by Linda Havlin. Ms. Havlin started out just trying to manufacture a product in this country, and her difficulty in doing that led her to start Wear USA. Please check out Wear USA’s website and sign their online petition to encourage U.S. retailers to carry Made in the US apparel. Way to go Wear USA!
