No one is going to mistake me for a sharp dresser. While I don’t generally parade around in leisure suits, I have worn one in my time. My default outfit of choice is shorts and soccer jerseys. Not very fashionable I know. So you might be surprised that I was pursuing Esquire recently since needing to know the most recent fashion is not something I spend too much time worrying about. However, Esquire drew my attention since Esquire was shining the light on thirteen of their favorite Made in America apparel items. Most of these brands I am not familiar with since they are pretty trendy and I am not trendy in the least.
While I was viewing the slide show, I happened to notice one of the comments. It included a great link to a list of all sorts of trendy fashion manufacturers in L.A. The site is We.are.FactoryLA.
If anyone is in need of a new purse, there is a wonderful firm making purses in my home town of Seattle. The firm is called Glittersweet Studio and their purses are great. My secretary Deb let me know about Glittersweet; they donate 5% of profits to local nonprofits supporting moms and kids. Glittersweet makes large totes, sling totes and wristlets.
A few of my favorites are the hummingbird tote
the Giraffe sling,
and the Blackbird wristlet.
Any of these creations would make your wife or girlfriend very happy. I may be a fashion disaster, but trust me, I know my purses!
Now get shopping!
