Finally, something to watch on Tuesday nights

The Travel Channel premieres a new series “Made in America” featuring hamburger guru George Motz this coming Tuesday, October 4th at 8 p.m.  Mr. Motz will travel to La-Z-Boy’s plant in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to offer his assistance to the La-Z-Boy employees as they build a recliner.

La-Z-Boy is an iconic American firm employing more than 5,000 members of our extended American family at five U.S. plants.  The premiere episode of Travel Channel’s “Made in America” will also highlight crayon maker Crayola and guitar maker Gibson.

Mr. Motz should be an interesting host for the show.  According to his website, George Motz is America’s foremost hamburger expert. He created a documentary film Hamburger America on the Sundance Channel in 2005, and also published a book of the same name.
