Did someone say cookies?

Well, we got the tree this morning.  The house is decorated and I have finished the top ten Made in America 2011 gift list.  I think it is time to get baking.  Growing up, my mum‘s favorite baked goods were meringues with egg white.  My son Benjamin is also quite the baker, making everything from bread to cookies.  If one is trying to make cookies, you need good cookie sheets.  And some of the best available are produced right here in the US by USA Pans.

USA Pan’s cookie sheets are superior for a couple of reasons.  First, the design of USA Pan’s bakeware is outstanding.  The bakeware has a corrugated or fluted design.  As a result, the pans are strong and long-lasting.  This fluted design also minimizes the contact area between the cookies and the pan which cuts down on stuck cookies.  Second, USA Pan’s cookie sheets are coated with AMERICOAT© Plus, a clear non-stick coating that according to USA Pan does not contain any PTFEs or  PFOAs.  I don’t know what PTFEs or PFOAs are but they sound somewhat scary.  USA Pan’s cookies sheets are available in three sizes, 10” x 14”, 14” x 14” and 18” x 14”.

If you want to bake treats other than cookies this holiday season, USA Pan has you covered there as well.  In addition to cookie sheets, USA Pan makes sheet pans, cake pans (round, square and rectangular), muffin pans, Crown Muffin pans, Mini-Muffin pans, pie pans, Biscotti pans, Brownie Bite Panel pans, and Mini Round Cake Panel pans.  The Mini Round Cake Panel pan seems to be the perfect pan for baking Cinnamon rolls.

While I have officially finished my top ten list this year, the USA Pan Six Piece pan set would be a gift that would make any baker cry with joy.  The set includes a USA Pan large cookie sheet, a half sheet pan, a rectangular cake pan, an 8″ square cake pan, a 1lb loaf pan and a 12 cup muffin pan.  If you gave such a gift you might reasonably expect to get some cookies and cakes as a thank you.  The other benefit you would receive from such a gift is the satisfaction of knowing that the USA Pans that you purchased are made by members of your extended American family living and working in Crescent, Pennsylvania.  I hear USA Pans is planning on rolling out a cresent pan next year!
