GM reigns supreme again

The New York Times reported today that GM reclaimed the world lead in car production this last year.  This comes only two years after GM emerged from bankruptcy proceedings. GM’s Chevrolet brand sold a record 4.76 million cars and trucks last year.  In addition to being happy about this news because it is good news for members of our American family making GM vehicles, all Americans should hope GM does well since the Treasury Department still owns about 26 percent of G.M.  If you want to read more about GM, check out my earlier post on the firm and its two “Big Three” siblings.

  1. Maybe it was a good thing that GM was bailed out after all. -Jack A.
