Christmas toys for the big boys

What to get your fella that is dying for a present made by a member of our extended American family is a snap.  My third gift idea on the 2012 Simply American Gift List are boots made by Allen Edmonds.

Allen Edmonds

When I was visiting Allen Edmonds in Port Washington, Wisconsin this last September, I was eyeing all the boots they had on offer at the factory store.  Lucky for you, two of the coolest styles are currently on sale and would make dreamy Christmas gifts for a fella in your life.  The first boot, the Malvern, is a casual around town boot.  But it is really cool in my book.

The second boot, the Cortina,  is a retro hiking boot you would have expected to see Jean-Claude Killy wandering around in after winning one of his three gold medals at the 1968 Winter Olympics at Grenoble.  Leave it to a French guy to win three gold medals when the Winter Olympics were held in France.

Take my word for it, any guy with half a brain would be ecstatic if he opened his present Christmas morning and found the Malvern, the Cortina or any Allen Edmonds pair of shoes.  So if you want a happy fella, go to the Allen Edmonds website, order up a pair or Malverns or Cortinas and then rest easy that you are fully covered on the husband/boyfriend Christmas gift front.

Now get shopping!
